, but the powder disk isothermal forging can not be done due to the lack of mold material which can stand 1100℃, and also the lack of equipment , especially the technology of mold making , this finally prevent the development of the application of the isothermal forging . We cooperate with Beijing institute of aeronautical material
(BIAM), we rely on their technology and equipment , studied the technology of isothermal forging mold making technology , adopt vacuum investment precision casting and invented new mold alloy which is capable of 1100℃,σb is 480 Mpa ( 2 patented technology ) , Achieved the successful application of superpalsticity isothermal forging and near isothermal forging under the standard atmosphere pressure . It is a new technology compared to the foreign vaccum Ar protected molybdenum alloy die Superplasticity isothermal forging .Now we are capable of making complex cavity mold with φ1400mm and weight over 1.5 ton . See figure 1 . In the meantime the N3 new alloy can not only meet the requirement of 1100-1150 ℃ but also as the outstanding material which extend the service life of the mold at temperature of 800-1050 ℃, see figure 2 .
